Dark Room is a femme-led, 3-piece indie/alternative rock band with Middle Eastern and North African roots. Recently formed in Ottawa, the band features Alya on lead vocals, Raph on guitar, and Zanou on drums.

They create and play with catchy, raw, and rock-inspired sounds, with each member bringing their style and taste to the mix.

Taking inspiration from each other, as well as artists like Inhaler, Arctic Monkeys, Towa Bird, and Briston Maroney, Dark Room’s quickly developing their craft and making a mark— and just might become your new favorite trio.
